Do you know how the public is warned of an emergency or storm? Emergency weather warnings are broadcast on television, radio and the internet. Know your weather warnings and what they mean.

Weather Advisory: Weather conditions are expected to cause significant. Inconveniences and may be hazardous, especially to motorists.

Storm Watch: Be alert, a storm is likely.

Storm Warning: Take action, the storm is entering our area.
