Transfer Station (8 Municipal Drive)
This facility is located at the end of Municipal Drive which is off of Nobel Road. It is located on the public works yard property adjacent to the McDougall Fire Hall. This facility only serves McDougall residents.

Landfill Site (214 McDougall Road)
Located approximately 7 km going east on McDougall Rd. from the Highway 400 (McDougall Rd./Bowes St.) interchange. This facility is operated solely by the Municipality of McDougall and receives household waste from McDougall residents, seven surrounding municipalities, over 800 commercial/industrial businesses, all of the government and public institutions in the surrounding seven municipalities. If you are a business or government institution wanting to use the facility you must either establish your own account with the municipality or use a commercial hauler that has an account. The exception to this is that household waste from the surrounding municipalities will be processed on a municipal account. The application form to establish an account can be found by clicking here. In 2008, the municipality opened a new landfill cell and leachate processing plant at this site which will handle the waste needs of the area for the next 25 years. The cost of this facility expansion is approx. $8.4 million and over the next 25 years will provide over $55 million dollars of input to the local economy.
