New for 2025 are yellow Municipal Permits. You must have a 2025 sticker fixed to the passenger side of the windshield, or in the case of a hanging tag, displayed on the rear view mirror or dash of your vehicle to access our transfer station, landfill site, and for use of our overnight parking areas at municipal water access points.
In the case of long term rentals it is the landlord’s (property owner) responsibility to give the tenant the stickers attached to that property. Replacement stickers will be available for a fee of $50.00, along with proof of residency/ownership.
Hanging tags in addition to the stickers are available for properties with multiple
owners registered on title (i.e.; a family cottage). Proof of ownership is
required and a tag will be issued to you accordingly. Residents are also able to exchange one sticker tag for a hanging tag.
** Please note the 2025 yellow permit stickers will not expire until March 31, 2026. There was a printing error and the expiry date March 31, 2025 is incorrect.**
