McDougall is located on Highway #400 two hours north of Toronto. Adjacent to Parry Sound this community is a playground for those who enjoy nature. The Municipality of McDougall is home to many inland lakes and Georgian Bay with beaches, trails and other recreation facilities. The permanent population is 2,700 with a much larger seasonal population.
Municipality of McDougall is seeking a Director of Operations. Responsible for leading the Operations and Infrastructure Department, including strategic leadership, management and administration of a broad operations portfolio including Roads, Fleet Maintenance, Parks, Facilities, Capital Projects, Public Works, Water and Waste Water and Waste Management. This is a full time position with a full benefit package and pension plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified Engineering Technologist; Five (5) years experience at a senior management level in a municipal public works environment with experience preparing/analyzing and administering capital and operating budgets.

Equipment Operator (Permanent Full-time)
The Corporation of the Municipality Of McDougall Is Accepting Applications for the Following Position
Full-Time Equipment Operator (Position Available immediately)
Equipment Operator candidates are to have a valid DZ or AZ (preferred) drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract. Operating knowledge and experience with snow plows, excavators, loader/backhoe, front end loader, bull dozer, and grader. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime and participate in the on call rotation. The successful applicant must provide a Criminal Background Check.
This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefit package and pension plan.

Utility Worker/ General Labourer - Parks & Recreation/Waste Management (Permanent Full-time)
The Corporation of the Municipality Of McDougall Is Accepting Applications for the Following Position: Full-Time Utility Worker/ General Labourer - Parks & Recreation/Waste Management (Position Available immediately)
This is a shared position with Parks & Recreation and Waste Management Departments. The individual would be required to provide a variety of maintenance and repair services at municipal facilities, parks and beaches, as well as monitoring the use of the municipal waste transfer station.
