Parry Sound Area Industrial Park

The Parry Sound Area Industrial Park was established in the 1970’s with the assistance of the Federal, Provincial,  and Municipal governments to become an industrial area with an ultimate size of 900 acres on the west side of Highway 69 in Carling Township. While the Park itself is located with Carling Township, it is operated through an operational agreement consisting and three local area municipalities which are Carling Township, the Municipality of McDougall, and the Town of Parry Sound.  As of January 2005, the Municipality of McDougall has assumed all administrative and operational duties within the Park on behalf of the Park Board.  Each municipality appoints representatives to the Parry Sound Area Industrial Park Board to manage the affairs of the Park.

The Parry Sound Area Industrial Park is located in Carling Township, just north of the Town of Parry Sound.  The Industrial Park is approximately 15 minutes from the downtown core of Parry Sound.  The Industrial Park is located just off of Highway 69; however, Highway 400 will soon be going through the area with an interchange conveniently located by the industrial park.

The Parry Sound Area Industrial Park is approximately 1,000 acres in size and is serviced with water, sewage and 3 phase hydroelectric power.  All land is zoned industrial and all serviced lots are priced at $25,000 per acre, un-serviced lots are priced at $8,000 per acre.
